Being a TechVoc student is fun because one will learn a different set of skills and further enhance their knowledge in other major subjects that one will encounter. But first and foremost, the advantage of being a TechVoc student is that it is a “vocational training” which prepares students for a certain career path that relies on their skills. Those who want to work in a certain field, such as interior design, fashion design, automobile maintenance, or computer networking can benefit from this training. Many times, the course schedule is devised based on input from local employers. Students are taught in the classroom as well as in the field, where they learn practical skills. The use of workshops in the classroom is also promoted to provide students with more practical experience in a particular field. This prepares the student for the task at hand and enables them to give their job the entire integrity, courtesy of this great knowledge, and lastly with the dedication to work hard.

Nowadays, most of the students can't afford to go to college due to financial reasons and if one is thinking of skipping college to work as soon as possible. One can use the things that are being taught from TVL (Technical Vocational Livelihood) track, and it can be used also overseas through the knowledge and skills acquired. The TVL track allows an opportunity to learn and go through an educational program that's a combination of center courses required for all SHS strands and specialized hands-on courses that meet the standard hour prerequisite and competency-based appraisal of TESDA. To sum it up, most people and their impression of the TechVoc track was that it was the easiest strand in senior high school, but these facts are the common misconceptions since even if a student is in the TechVoc track and only specialize in culinary or ICT, the student’s in TechVoc still gets to study the other subjects that the other strands has such as math(General Mathematics, Statistics and Probability), science(Earth & Life Sciences, Physical Science), research(EAAP, Practical Research, 3i’s) and other more subjects.

TechVoc is timely since every student can improve their own practical skills. It is relevant nowadays not because the students that are on this track work while studying, but because the students in this track want to learn how to earn money using their skills and passion. Nowadays in the 21st century it is difficult to earn money through knowledge for some people that is why they want to use their skills and abilities from their passion to use it to earn for some income.

The FNB (Food and Beverages) is a well-known choice for preparing and serving food and beverages to customers. This track is assigned to any food and beverage-related job. Also, it is well-known for serving and presenting different types of foods.As well as it is responsible housekeeping and assisting all guests in restaurants or hotels. ICT (Information Communication Technology) is a well-known choice for students that are interested in computer-related fields. It is known for computer programming or coding and learning troubleshooting on a computer. In this strand,the students will understand how to use some computer techniques, as well as how to build computers from the inside out.
