My experiences as a TVL ICT student was challenging and enjoyable at the same time since I rarely practice my drawing skills. It was a good experience to be able to use those skills and have a specific goal to achieve.
Since a majority of my family has talent for drawing, I choose ICT because of the Animation subject and try to shift that talent to digital drawing despite the fact that I had no experience with digital drawing. It was interesting to learn new techniques in digital drawing that can also be used for hand drawn characters like the human anatomy that we learned from our animation subject. Before senior highschool, I had no experience in coding whatsoever. Though thanks to our programming teachers, it was much more easier to understand.
In our current animation subject, we were tasked with a total of 3 activities in animation 4. One was to draw any type of mask before unfolding the new topic which is masking.

Hello, I’m Kyle Tario I am a gr 12 TECHVOC student. I choose food and beverages because I love to eat. And since I love to eat, I should know how to cook. That’s why I want to be a chef and that is also the reason why I choose food and beverage. Also, in FNB we don’t just learn how to cook; we also learn other things such as programming, creating websites and others. And we also do a lot of activities, and this is one example that I made.

This one that I made is doll cake, I made this cake for my food and beverage subject and this cause me a lot of time when I made this doll cake. It took me 5 hours to make this cake. This one is the polvoron making activity. We made this for our first semester activity in food and beverage and I’m so happy because I learned how to a make polvoron.

As an FNB student we also learn how to do table skirting or designing a table for catering services. We also learn how to make yema, pastillas and other products. We also learn how to use the proper tools to measure ingredients.

In food and beverage, I learned a lot not only in knowledge base but in skill base knowledge. I'm so happy that I have unlocked a lot of skills and gained new experience. And for others they have their one and only the best activity; but for me I love it all, and all my activity is the best for me.

Hello I’m Christine Andrei I Serrano, From Holy Trinity Academy I choose Strand Food and Beverage because I adore cooking and inventing new types of food regardless of what I'm doing, and I also lose my exhaustion and unhappiness when I cook or create a drink. Although computer programming has nothing to do with food and beverage, it is really useful because it allows you to post on many social media platforms. For example, if I want to start a business, I’ll utilize coding to construct a website to promote it.

My experience as a Techvoc student has been really great, especially in my strand of Food & Beverage. This strand aided in the development of my cooking and baking abilities. Even though it is not our major subject as a food and beverage student, we have a computer programming class in which we learn about coding numbers. It has helped me learn more about technology and and will benefit us in the future.

The first activity we did was make Halloween pastillas, which I was extremely pleased with because it was my first time making pastillas.

It’s named Valentine’s Treats because we made it during Valentine’s month. Our teacher wants us to make valentines sweets so that we can gift them to our loved ones, family, and friends to demonstrate how much we love care and about them.

It’s my first time making a cake, and I thought it would be simple, but I was wrong; it’s difficult to make a cake, so my work isn’t perfect, and it was difficult when I was designing my cake because I made an iced cream for the icing of my doll cake, but because it was hot, it melted easily, so my doll cake isn’t perfect. However, I still like and appreciate my work despite its flaws because it still tastes good.

While I am in TVL-ICT strand the lessons that were taught by our subject teachers are fun and exciting. I am enjoying my time while I am in TVL-ICT strand but hardships will not be removed since I am learning lessons and there are things that are new to me. When I am in my 11th grade, In programming we are taught the basics of Java language in programming using a mobile app and an online java compiler.

I enjoyed those days while learning new things. I was amazed that I knew how those things operate, how those codes work. It is a little bit confusing but it is still enjoyable and exciting. In animation on our 11th grade we were taught how to draw different faces, we were taught how to draw traditionally and digitally. We made comics as our Performance task in finals.

Now in my 12th grade there are things that are again, new to us. We were taught how to animate digitally, we were taught how to draw different emotions

and we are taught how to use different animation softwares such as Adobe Animate, Flip-a-clip etc. There are many things to be learned here in TVL-ICT you will be filled with joy, excitement and dedication while and after you learn the lessons that are taught to you by your subject teachers.
